Jennifer Bauer, MS, ACSM-CPT/CET, ACE-Health Coach

After 18 years of growing a successful career as a certified paralegal Jen decided to follow her passion for helping others get fit and healthy while reaching their full fitness potential. She was inspired after her father received a devastating diagnosis of Multiple Myeloma, cancer which affects the bone marrow. Through this experience, she realized that life is precious and unpredictable. With the support of her family she was encouraged to live her life doing what she loves.

Jen is a Personal Trainer certified through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), and the Athletic Certification & Training Commission (Action). She also holds certifications in Group Training through ACSM, Health Coaching through ACE Fitness, Advance Nutrition through Action and is certified as a Cancer Exercise Specialist through ACSM. College education includes: Bachelor's of Science in Exercise Science earned through Broadview University, Masters Degree for Applied Clinical Nutrition through New York Chiropractic College – expected graduation 8/2019.

Jen has always had an enthusiasm for fitness and being active, and she believes the best way to stay fit is to continuously have a goal. Some of her completed personal goals include: competing in half-marathons; triathlon-sprints; Victory bike race and an NPC fitness competition.

Whether your goals are to lose weight, build muscle, improve overall strength and flexibility, or to train for your very first 5K. She will help you with motivation, support and an effective training program.

Marie started her personal training career in 2014 after obtaining her certification with the American Council of Exercise (ACE).  Her love of helping others achieve their fitness goals started with simply learning to help herself.  Being diagnosed with type II diabetes as a teenager forced Marie to learn how to eat and exercise in order to maintain her sugar levels with the need for insulin.
In 2016, she trained for and completed her first Ballpark Spartan Obstacle Race.  Marie understands the importance of setting a goal, seeing what it will take to obtain that goal, and working towards tackling it.  She enjoys teaching her clients new ways of exercising using the TRX suspension straps, kettle bells, and full body weight exercises.  Marie believes in training for function, obtaining goals, and developing a healthy lifestyle.
